Honoured to Present at the First Deep Gluteal Syndrome Meeting in Bologna!
Delighted to deliver the Lettura Magistrale alongside my colleague Professor Ernest Schilders at the first meeting on Deep Gluteal Syndrome at the prestigious IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli in Bologna.
Our session provided a comprehensive overview of hamstring injuries, focusing on:
- Conservative management and surgical approaches for complex and recurrent injuries
- The role of ultrasound in dynamic injury assessment
- Ultrasound-guided neurolysis, adhesiolysis, and targeted PRP injections
- Strategies to minimise surgical complications and enhance patient outcomes
- Our multidisciplinary “Combo Clinic” approach, integrating radiology and orthopaedics for optimal diagnosis and treatment
