Professor Johnson is a leading Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist, Professor of Sports Medicine Imaging and Chair and Clinical Lead of Education, Royal College of Radiologists.
She is a Professor of Sports Medicine Imaging at the Carnegie School of Sport, Leeds Beckett University which is the largest provider of sport in UK higher education. She is also a visiting professor at the University of Dartmouth, USA.
Specialising in diagnostic imaging and image-guided treatments for elite athletes, her precision-focused approach supports international athletes and clubs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective, minimally invasive interventions.
Professor Johnson collaborates with some of the world’s most prestigious organisations, including Premier League and Championship football teams, major European leagues, the Lawn Tennis Association, British Olympians, British Athletics and Triathlon, international rugby and cricket teams, North American Basketball and the Royal Ballet.
